Lavaar Williams Quesiton #4 (By: Bilal Haider Syed)

I would say that if the character's were more "laid back" (meaning rational) then perhaps Tuirn's doom could have been prevented. Because then, Turin would never have left Dor Lomin. He would have listened to the council of Thingol and Melian and stayed their because they had even said that they sensed some darkness on Tuirn, but it would not affect him if he were to stay but alas, he was not rational but was rash and listened to his desire to fight Morgoth and so he gave himself to Morgoth with his own free will. Thingol and Melian were more "laid back" and they had guessed correctly and they themselves kept disaster away from themselves so if everyone was more "laid back" and followed their ways, then perhaps everyone would be more safe and would have overturned Morgoth;s throne without the help of Valar.

Isbah Masood's Question #4 (By: Lavaar Williams)

Glaurung hynotized Turin. because he wanted to show Turin a false imagination of his mother and sis being tortured and that they were at King Thingol's castle when they actually weren't. And that mislead Turin.

Isbah Masood's Question#4 (By: Bilal Haider Syed)

The one who hypnotised Turin was Glaurung. he did this so that he could distract Turin from saving Finduilas (if he had then Turin's doom would have been lifted), so that Turin would go to Dor Lomin to save his family. The problem is that Turin's family was no longer there. They had finally left for the halls of Thingol and so he was leading Tuirn into a dead-end.

Bilal Haider Syed Question #4 (By: Isbah Masood)

Neinor was found on top of Finduilas' s grave, he thought it was some sort of sign from her but it wasnt. Since he used to like Finduilas, he was going to marry her but plans were changed because she died.

Lavaar William's Question #2 (Thineash John)

Yes, if there was to only be one designated place throughout the novel, things would occur differently because many events throughout the book happened in different places. Turin  fled to Nargothrond to hide away from Morgoth. Morgoth had hid Turin in Thangorodrim. Turin and Nienor had died in Brethil. If all of these events were to happen in one location, Turin and their family will be ruined long before.

Bilal Haider Syed's Question #1 (Bilal Haider Syed)

1. Well, nice question Bilal. I think that it would hardly make a difference, because regardless if Dorlas and Hunthor had lived to face Glaurung or not, they both knew that neither one of them was a match for Glaurung, and they also knew that Turin was the greatest warrior among them. So, ultimately it can be assumed that Turin would have still killed Glaurung. Of course, Turin would still have to retrieve his sword and so the dragon's blood would still bleed on Turin's hand resulting in his hand burning and then his becoming unconscious. After that, it would have been near impossible to carry Turin back (remembering how much trouble they had when they first climbed and at that time, they were all well) so they would likely stay there.  I can also assume that they would hardly make a difference in preventing the secret of Turin's and Nienor's true relation being exposed to Nienor. The reason is that Nienor would have arrived anyway and it is very unlikely that Dorlas and Hunthor would block her way. This would lead to Glaurung revealing the true relationship of Turin and Nienor and so result in Nienor going mad and committing suicide (even if Dorlas or Hunthor could stop her from doing so, she would have still have found a way and I am sure of that). Even if the two could stop Nienor from committing suicide, they would not be able to prevent her madness. Then once Turin would have waken, even if those two did not tell Turin what had occurred, Brandir (who would have still witnessed the whole thing) would still have told Turin because of his grief of Nienor. If even that could have been supressed, Turin still would see that Nienor had died once he got back to Brethil and so he would have become depressed because of his love for Nienor. Yet if all that was to somehow be prevented and if Turin was to still live, I am sure that Morgoth would still have found a way to torture Turin because his whole thought was bent on dooming him.
